We’ll continue to feel insecure while we abide in a world that has not entirely escaped its superbia. We’ll continue to feel insecure when we’re tempted to manufacture or shore up a reputation for ourselves, or to adhere to some social standard being imposed on us. We’ll continue to feel insecure for as long as we’ve taken steps out of Me-Ville but still have it in our sights.
